The western side of Circular Quay is called the Writers Walk. Brass plaques are set into the paving commemorating various writers. The plaque under the foot is for Joseph Conrad and his book, Mirror of the Sea (1906), which says very nice things about Sydney Harbour. Its still is a very busy place with lots of hurry hurry.
