I didn't get a chance to upload this on the 24th - my birthday - as I was out all day with my girlfriend and then out again in the evening for supper. However, I knew that this was the image I wanted for my PAD.

My husband had taken my daughter shopping for my birthday present earlier in the week. Courtney had planned on buying me a little brass clock in the shape of a camera that we had seen when we had been out together at another time. However, the store had sold it in the meantime! She was pretty upset. They then stopped at a card store before heading to the "big city" where there was a greater selection of gifts. While my husband was picking out a card, she went looking at the giftware items and came back with this beautiful glass plaque! When my husband read it he asked her if this was really what she wanted to get and if she had read it. She had and did!

Of course, when she gave it to me yesterday, I started crying! She made a big fuss about me getting "all mushy" but secretly, I think she was very pleased with herself! The beautiful pink roses accompanying the plaque are from my husband, Bob. He drove clear across the city to get these at the best conservatory that we know!
