Linda Vich

Feb. 25/04

Well, here I am again with another light painting experiment. My daughter again did the flashlight work and this time we explored shadows. I shot with 100 ISO, f7.4, shutter 17.4 seconds. I remembered to use noise reduction this time but did not use a ND filter.

If you look closely at the end table in this image, you can see that I am spending WAY too much time having fun with my camera!

Excellent shot, Linda! You (and your daughter) did an awesome job. Don't worry about the dust... you should see the my the shelves and tables in my office right now... whew! PAD'ing is not good for housekeeping.

Wow, a great photo. I like the sparkle of light on the glass rim, and the shadow is beautiful. The blue bit over the top part of the shadow looks like some big fish swimming away.

My house is looking about the same..the dust..omg no wonder I sneeze!!! LOL..fun humor. Hey the dust is always there, an opportunity to capture a photo isn't.

Very nice, clever idea!

what a cool picture, If the little glass had legs, it would run away from it's own shadow.

Amazing! The shadow is so perfect that it looks that you have a big and a small glass, one white, one black. Love the aqua on the wall too, goes well with the "aqua" in the glass!

There is no such thing as spending WAY TOO MUCH time with your camera...Unless your husband uses it in divorce court....uh-oh, here he comes now! LOL!!

Linda, another excellent go at painting with light. I love how the glass itself is lit so well against the black behind it, and the shadow is so black against the well-lit wall. Just brilliantly done. You and your daughter make a good team!! -- angela :)

Linda, this is great, period. As far as I can tell you are definitely not spending too much time with your camera as the relationship is obviously an excellent one and you should spend as much time as possible together. Nice work. really interesting. - liza
