Left over stamps from the Christmas card mailing list. We managed to make the last posting day for second class postage, so this year we didn't need to shell out the extra few pennies on first class stamps: we wouldn't want people talking about us thinking that we are better than them, because we put first class stamps on our Christmas card envelopes. That just wouldn't be the middle-class thing to do! Anyway, the second class stamps are nicer, what with their little Frosty the Snowman. I don't know what's on the first class Christmas stamps, but whatever it is, it won't be as nice: it'll be too posh for the likes of us to appreciate.
