823. Blowing my own trumpet

13 November 2006

Yes, you have seen this one before: now you are getting to see it again. I entered it into the Scottish Photographic Federation's national print competition, which was held on Saturday 11 November, where it won the Kirkintilloch Plate for best overall print and a Scottish Photographic Federation medal for best colour print by a beginner. Yahoo me. Now they'll be beating a path to my door to purchase my images before I get famous and they can't afford them. Or maybe not!

(Normally I blame it on the keyboard...)

Congratulations. This one though has so many great qualities. Composition, light, colors and that edge of moderness, romance etc etc. You so deserve this!!!!

Printed out on my trusty old HP deskjet on HP paper. For the nationals I'll get it done on a professional Epson on Permajet paper.

Score! Well done, Stu!

Do you do the printing yourself too?
