What a day. It started first thing this morning, and carried right on through to late at night! I had to go to college this morning, as I had to sit a computer based test on a piece of software that I have never used before yesterday, and which I probably won't ever use again. I'm not telling you what program it is, because you'll just laugh at me. Today's test is one of seven that I have to pass to get my certificate. I have already done two, and passed; but then, they were for programs that I use on an almost daily basis, so I expected to pass. As I said, today's was different, and I wasn't at all confident that I would pass. I got 100%. The test really was so easy that someone who has only had one day to learn the program can pass it. I felt deflated that I has spent so much time worrying about it (well, okay, I spent about an hour worrying about it, then I read the newspaper reports of our victory over France at the weekend to take my mind off it). Once that was over it was time to get conjugating those Spanish verbs. I've had two weeks to do this assignment (and, if the truth be told, it is not a particularly difficult assignment), but I decided to leave it until the day before it is due to be handed in. Tomorrow I have a close reading test on a short story, and I haven't even begun to look at that - let alone decide which short story I am going to write about. I really must begin to take college a bit more seriously! (Not that I haven't been taking it seriously, mind!). On top of all this, I had to go down to the camera club for the first club competition, to which I entered four prints. The judge really did like the sound of his own voice and, as a result, the night dragged on. I didn't do too badly, though, with three of my entries earning the highest grades, and one winning the Judge's Choice. Now I really must get back to conjugating those verbs... quise, quisiste, quiso, quisimos, quisisteis, quisieron.
