Back to the grind today, although I decided to spend some time at the university and give the National Library a miss. I had a meeting up at the uni at noon anyway, so there seemed little point in going anywhere else. The sun has been replaced with dull and overcast skies and light drizzle, and while the thermometer is telling me that it is cooler than of late, the humidity is still high, so it is still uncomfortable. My weekend north of Lisbon started today, and at 5pm I was on the bus to São Martinho where, once more, Pedro and Helena are looking after me. Pedro, Lucas and I went for a walk along the waterfront before supper. Poor Pedro didn't get much of a chance to take any photographs, as he was too busy chasing after Lucas, who seemed determined to fall into the sea at any opportunity. He has certainly got a lot bigger since the last time I saw him... and much more mobile! Tomorrow we are off to Marinha Grande where we will be meeting up with José, and where I will watch Celtic (hopefully) win some silverware this season! Óxala!
This time last year FC Porto woke up as European Champions
