Murroes

20 August 2004

122.
Yipee! I escaped the paint brushes and rollers for an afternoon, as I was needed in my other capacity as family chauffeur. I took the opportunity to escape for a couple of hours into the countryside around Monikie, where I knew there were three castles (Murroes, Affleck and Hynd) waiting to be photographed. The sun was out, the sky was blue, and there wasn’t a single tin of paint to spoil my view. I even had time to give this little fellow a few handfuls of grass from the other side of the fence.

Fun shot Stewart. Boy when you move from castles to animals you sure don't horse around!!!

Building that wall would make painting & decorating a breeze :>) Nice rural scene Stewart.

Such an idylic photo! This is gorgeous Stu. I like the colours. The hint of threatening sky adds a bit of drama to the scene! Wonderful catch!

He was happy to see you. Can you imagine making that stone wall? It is beautiful, too.

Very Good - color, hue, sharpness, and composition. Like the stone wall in the background. :)

Lovely portrait that is beautifully composed, but maybe a little too oversharpened in post processing.
