Liam has been going on and on and on and on and on about wild animals ever since he saw the red deer at Newtyle on Sunday. We decided to take him to Camperdown Wildlife Centre. That is where we saw this pair of Great Grey Owls. This is not the best photo I took, but I like it... it is screaming out for a humorous caption. So... there's a challenge for you... just what could these owls be saying to each other?

Oooo, I love this shot. I'm glad you left the wire above them to show that they are captive birds. Are they Tawny Owls? That's the closest I can come by looking in field guides, but the green face makes me wonder. For a caption: "I have a plan for getting us outta here."

Sometimes that's not the best shot that best represents what was the day. It's also important to share more than pictures : feelings. Hence I can easily imagine Liam's mood today ! Well, I need a little practice for the challenge. Maybe next time. Cheers.
