Old ball

17 July 2004

88.
It has been a rather uninspiring day today. I have been in front of my computer trying to write about fascism in Portugal. Meanwhile, the smell of chicken fricasee is wafting into my study from the kitchen. The boys unearthed this old ball and left it lying in the garden. Any excuse for me to get down on the grass! Like the ant's eye view on this, but the other choice is good too.

Interesting work Stewart; this acts as a nice companion piece to yesterday's shot. I hope it's all a thing of the past for Portugal.

interessante composição...e a relva é sempre um bom local para estar!
abraço.

Do you have an antique ball collection? LOL

Well, isn't that just the beauty of PaD? Any old thing can be inspiring when looked at critically. Nice!

something about this shot mesmerizes me. I like the the fact you put the focus in the middle of the shot away from the ball.

Haha , i've just read your comment about Yosi's Petunia shot and now I can see it too .
I like the low perspective on this shot , I think the ball needs some air in it though .

Well, Stewart, at least you did your PAD, lol. I DO like the perspective of this shot, and the ball DOES seem to be beckoning for company, lol.
