Rothesay Castle is the only round castle in Scotland.
After they built it, they realised they couldn't see around corners.
So they added four circular towers.
Then, in the middle ages they created the grand hall.
The castle was originally beside the sea on a promontory.
Then they decided to reclaim the land in front of it to build a town.
That town is now Rothesay
