I received a gift from a company in Portugal that I do some work for.
I found the parcel, unopened, in the recycle bin, so I fished it out.
A very thoughtful gift that I will make very good use of.
On another note: several years ago we bought a very expensive Le Creuset frying pan.
After a couple of years we had to send it back because it lost its non-stickiness.
No quibble, all well and good, and within a month a brand new pan arrived in the post.
Now, three year later, this pan has gone the same way - the coating is brown and sticky.
So we contacted Le Creuset again, and again they did not quibble.
A new pan is winging its way to us.
However, they did tell us to stop cooking with olive oil.
It would appear olive oil is a killer for these very expensive Le Creuset frying pans.
We were advised to use rapeseed oil, sunflower oil or plain old vegetable oil instead.
