This is Mizzie.
She was three years old when this picture was taken in 2003.
She joined our family with her brother, Max, in March 2000, when they were both eight weeks old.
Max got run over and died outside our house in 2002.
Mizzie died this afternoon, in my arms, of old age.
She was 21 and she was a beautiful companion for all of those years.
We are going to miss her terribly.
