A couple of weeks ago I was bemoaning the downturn in freelance work.
Things had been fairly quiet for a few weeks, and I was beginning to get a little concerned.
I don't mind dipping into my savings to tide me over.
I always replace the money once the cash flow has started again.
This time I was worrying that I might not be able to repay the money I borrowed from myself.
So, I applied for a part-time job: guaranteed money at the end of the month.
Then the freelance work started to pick up, and an old client returned with more work.
Then I got the job.
Now I have so much work on my plate I am having to turn some away.
I suppose having too much work is better than not having enough.
