Exactly one year ago today I started my Road to the Isles project.
My friend Gavin and I braved Storm Ciara and walked alongside the raging rivers Garry and Tummel as they burst their banks.
I don't recall the weather being that bad.
But I do remember going into the cafe at Pitlochry power station for coffee and bacon rolls.
Today there is about a foot of snow, and we are in lockdown.
I don't think I'll be going very far, if indeed I go anywhere.
