It was a beautiful, clear day today.
We headed over to Balkello Woods with the intention of climbing Auchterhouse Hill.
The paths were little more than sheets of ice and we struggled on the narrow, steep route.
We got halfway and decided it was perhaps not the best day to try.
So we turned back and struggled back down a steep ice-covered path.
Linda fell twice, and I almost fell twice.
But we made it, then the car almost slid into another Mercedes as we tried to make our way out of the skating rink that was the car park.
We got out without any damage.
We will try again another day.
