It was Christmas tree night, tonight.
A night of snacks, alcohol and music.
We began, as is traditional, with The Bells of Dublin by The Chieftains.
This inevitably led to Irish Heartbeat by Van Morrison.
Then we had Bowie, Roxy Music, Pink Floyd, Echo and the Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes, BB King, John Lee Hooker, Gary Numan, Human League, The The, Spear of Destiny, XTC, Led Zeppelin, The Jam, The Fall, Joy Division, Sham 69, UK Subs, Jesus and Mary Chain, Wedding Present and the Specials.
I also had half a bottle of port and an Aperol spritz for good measure.
It only happens once a year, so I won't feel guilty.
Last year I was in Lisbon:
