The last time I was in this woodland it looked completely different.
There was a canopy of bright green leaves over a carpet of small pink flowers.
It was like something out of a fairy tale, which I am not talented enough to capture.
But that was back in June, as spring turned to summer.
Now at the beginning of winter, the scene is very different.
And much more of a challenge.
