OK. This is going to be a bit more of a challenge than I expected.
I am using the DX 35mm f1.8 on my Z6.
The problem is that the Z6 automatically crops the image to 52.5mm.
To get it to shoot at 35mm on the Z6, I have to unlock the FTZ adaptor.
This does two things.
It disables the lens's electronics, turning it into a manual lens.
It disables the aperture settings, so the aperture is fixed, and I think it is fixed wide open.
That means the depth of field is very shallow.
But there is a much more awkward problem.
When fitted properly the lens is crisp and has no chromatic fringing.
It remains fairly sharp when the adaptor is unlocked.
However, the fringing is so bad it looks like a cheap kit lens.
I think the only solution is to avoid high contrast images.
Unfortunately, that was difficult to do today.
