The facade of Livraria Portuguesa, a rather expensive and old-fashioned bookshop beside the Elevador Santa Justa in Lisbon. I had a browse around, but was put off by the prices, with paperback history books averaging about 30 euros. There is a smaller and cheaper bookshop just a couple of doors down where I bought a book about Sidonio Pais for the princely sum of three euros.
