So I learned something interesting (to me) tonight.

This is what happens if you choose a shutter speed faster than the flash sync speed of your camera.

The above half of the image was shot at 1/320 of a second.
The lower half of the image was shot at 1/640 of a second.

The bottom half of the bottom image appears cut off but what you are seeing is the shutter curtain returning.
