This morning I got to do some downtown Roanoke photography with fellow Pbaser Greg Macklem http://www.pbase.com/gmacklem). I will post other shots from our morning shoot later this week.

While we were getting some wide angle shots of a water fountain in downtown we spotted this deer running past us in the middle of the city. Not something you see often in downtown Roanoke. I had my 16-35mm mounted so this is a very heavy crop.

It appears that the deer was running scared after a accident with a car. It's face was very bloody and it had a slight limp. You can see it's tongue hanging out, it had probably been running for some time. Shortly after this shot the police arrived, they had been trying to find it. I sure do with they could just relocate her to Cades Cove down here in Tennessee. But I am sure I know what happened to her.
