Tonight after work I had a nice 4 mile hike with about 25-30 pounds in my pack. I am doing some training with weight in my back because I want to be able to make it to some overnight campsites in the Smokies so I can do some sunrise photography with the wildflowers in the back country of the park, so I need to get used to having a full pack.
This was taken on the West Point section of Haw Ridge Park. The small bag you see by my leg has my dinner for the evening. A bag of spicy tuna, some crackers and a trail bar and a chocolate power gel packet for dessert.
NOTE: I AM WORKING ON A NEW FRAME TO GET RID OF THE DROP SHADOW EVERYONE HATES AND COMPLAINS ABOUT. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THIS ONE?
