Not sure of the name of the "secret falls" but it is not normally there. Well the ledge is always there and most of the year there is some shallow flow of water falling over it's edge.
It just takes alot of rain for this falls to "bloom"
This was taken inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the way to Gatlinburg from Townsend. Left at the "Y" as we say around here. Once you go left at the "Y" it is on your right about half way between "Y" and Sugarlands Visitor Center, just outside of Gatlinburg.

Last year at this time I made one of my favorite self-portraits, which eventually became my "style" of upclose portraits that use alot of negative space. Abby says my portraits and self-portraits are more about what I chose to not show than what I chose to show. Maaaaybe she is right (rolling eyes).
