Thank you David.

But you will have to ask Mr. Bullington (who posted before you) about that since he owns this Roanoke landmark. I grew up on a bowl with and a double meat cheezy wester (add chili). I make it a habit to go there with every visit home. I live in Knoxville, TN now.

Thank you for your nice comment. I love to shoot this location. There is always something going on there to get a photo. Do you have a place that you feel you could shoot thousands of times and still not get it right? This is my place. I just never feel I do it justice. But I will keep trying.

Awsome shot!!The lighting is excellent and I think capturing the people inside made the shot .They should put this picture on their wall inside.

Jim-I have owned the Texas Tavern in Roanoke, Va. for 38 years and have seen some beautiful photographs of the building but this is one of the best. Keep shooting.
(We will celebrate our 75th anniversary on Feb 13,05. Bring your camera!) Jim

Great shot. Nice capture of lighting. Makes me want to hop on the subway to Coney Island and grab a dog now.
