Also known as Chimaphila maculate. Thanks to VisionLight on dpreview Canon forum for informing me of the name of this little blossom that I found in my woods in Eastern Tennessee. Also known as Little Pipsissewa, from the Cree Indian word 'pipisskueu' meaning "It breaks it ito small pieces". The plant was once used in preparations for breaking up kidney stones or gallstones.
