This is definitely Sheerness-on-Sea station! (I know because I worked there in the early 1980's). As Boz said, most of the Mk 1 carriages appear to be in blue/grey, which started from 1965, but the loco is still green with no small yellow marker panel, which was extremely rare on the SR after 1967, I would suggest it must be between 1965 and 1967.

I think this photo was taken at Sittingbourne in 1962

Not even 1997. The livery is the early BR green version and with blue and grey Mk.1s in the rake, I'd go for 1967.

I have a very similar photo by an unknown photographer. The loco is shown as D6585 and the date November 1897. Obviously a rail tour.
