Hi all this is a photo of Alma street .one thing wrong with the photo ,it has been printed in reverse .The lamp posts should be on the right hand side of the road as my mum still lives oposite to that lamp post.

This picture is of Alma street not Alma road, and it was taken from the dead end section at a brick wall beyond which were school grounds and back towards Richmond street. I lived in Alma street till 1952

Alma Road had and still has small front gardens (if you can call them gardens) and bay windows so it's definately not Alma Road.

Hello,
I think this was Alma Road, which has suffered Floods way back, caused through insufficient barrier at The Jetty end of road.
