Wow, looking at these photos of Bell Farm and Minster is bringing back so many childhood memories.
My parents Alf and Edie Callaway had a chalet ‘Skyelyne’ built in ?1957 or 1958.....though we had to change it to No. 37.....when the new regime arrived after the tragic passing of the Bennett’s.
Not only do we have fantastic memories of the mad evenings they spent in the Club..... but our long summer evenings in the kiddies club next door.
And who could forget Bobbies Bingo at the Endeavour Caravan site.......and Bobbie showing her bloomers every time she bent over.
My mum is now 102 and still has a razor sharp memory of those times......can’t remember what she had for breakfast !
Other memories, annual sports day with the Bennett’s, Stan and Dais, Bob Party and his family.....rampant Chelsea supporters as we are.
Thank you for sharing your photos with us all.
Regards,
John Callaway
