Ritz cinema

Thanks to Paul Dummott for the pic:
"It is an artist's impression of the Ritz cinema from the opening programme dated 15th March 1937. The Ritz was in Wood St and was most recently known as Woodys- a nightclub. It is just about to be torn down and replaced by flats."

When I looked at the Cinema Site the other day They had almost compleetly pulled it all down including the Art Deco Tower.

Its a real shame that a piece of Sheerness Social history has been pulled down

I am a bit confused about whats happening at the site of the Ritz Cinema. They seemed to have stopped at the Art Deco styled Tower at the High Street side about 4 weeks ago. Does anyone know Whats happening there.

Also I havesome photographs of the outside about a month before they pulled it down.

This building is being demolished right now. Does anybody have any pictures of this cinema on the inside or out?
Can't believe it sat there closed for over 20 years...
