Made for the royal show in Dumfries in 1954 and was in comercial use until 1977 by Mr John Howat.
Owned by M. E. Rogers & Sons.

Hi Trevor, would it be possible to use your picture of
1951 Barclay, Ross & Hutchison 40" Drum Thresher on my website? I am writing a history of my house (Outseats House) and Mr Ross of Barclay, Ross and Hutchison was a previous resident (from around 1916 to 1940), so although the picture is of a more recent machine it would be very useful to illustrate the history.
