I am William R Munson's grand daughter, Karen. Nancy Gilham is my mother and Julie Higgs is my sister.
My mother is still living (aged 91 in 2020) and currently living in Wokingham in Berkshire. Her brother, my uncle Derek Munson, has passed away.
On my side of the family, Nancy has two grand children and four great grandchildren (living in Maidenhead, Berkshire and Melbourne Australia)

read the above with interest;my Father Ronald Hammond worked at the laundry.It was his first job on returning home from ww2.I have memories of visiting my dad whilst he worked there.

I am Nancy J Gilham née Munson, daughter of William R Munson. We lived at Parsonage Chase Minster, Sheppey. The laundry was on ground near us owned by my father. I was born at Parsonage Chase in 1929. My father, grandmother and Aunt Nell (Hammond) were joint owners of the laundry. My brother Derek and I spent an idyllic childhood at Parsonage Chase. He now lives in Sevenoaks and I moved to Reading in 1964. Happy Days!!

My grandfather, William Richard Munson, owned the laundry until its demise in 1953. He died in 1984, aged 86, but my Mum and her brother are still alive

My Mum, Joan Elsie Howland nee Thompson, worked at this laundry during the second world war along with her friend Phil Brooker.
