I had a saturday job in Woolworths too, 1971 -1973 as I recall, it further along to the left of this picture just past the Central pie shop and Currys.

YES THERE WAS DEFINITELY A wOOLWORTHS. Ity always seemed big to me but then I was only small. It was always very busy and I had a saturday job there for a short time .

I seem to remember a woolworths on this street. it was small it seems. I was about 5 or 6 years old at the time.
