I used to live in the pool during the 60's. I remember the fountain was always very slippery and the diving boards daunting. I have been in there when only the diving club was fool enough to swim, it was so cold. The pool was huge before they cut off the top to make a kiddies pool. My ears used to pop in the nine foot 9 end and the changing rooms were awful. Good times though.

I remember this fountain very well. Someone would sit in the top of it and the water would spray everywhere.
