This was my playground in the 50's.There was a drainage pipe just off the beach at the end of Richmond St. It used to be coated in seaweed and barnacles. I walked along the top of the pipe but my feet slipped on the seaweed and I sat astride the pipe. I carried the scars from the barnacles for years. Ouch!!
