Thanks for great viewing. I stayed in the cottage with the veranda many times from 1945 until about 1951. My aunty lived there and we were sent to the area during the war. I sold icecreams along Warden Point/Leysdown beach at 8 years old and a view of Bay View Stores where I worked from is shown in an earlier photo`. My mother was post lady for the Shellness area for a while (the cycling got a bit much in winter) and later housekeeper to the Rev Cowell at Leysdown church. Great memories and as I live in the Outer Hebrides now, very precious. Thanks again.
