This photo most definitely brings back mixed memories. I remember as a lad, having finally plucked up courage and diving off the top board for the first time, the horrible realization that my swimming trunks and I had parted company. Ye gods...decades later and the thought of it still makes me cringe. Luckily I retrieved them before they floated to the surface, and despite nearly drowning in the process, managed to put them back on before coming up for a gasp of fresh air!

Makes me shiver just to look at it. You can see the shadow cast by the "Pit" under the diving board. I always used to be scared of that. I thought there may be monsters living down there. Maybe there was.
