Well thats real spooky. I was telling my grandson about the no nonsense swimming instructor i had but i couldnt remember her name, and then look at your photos there it was Mrs Goymer.

I was at Minster Primary School during the 1950's, our 'Instructor' was a teacher by the name of Miss Rule, she had a little green A35 car.

I bet the teacher was Mrs Goymer.She was there for years. Sadly no loger with us.

I remember this pool very well. My first school swimming lesson. They always chalked the water temperature on a little board outside, and on that day it read 54 degrees. I can still remember the smell of chlorine and shivering in the changing room. I've hated swimming pools ever since.
