Lake Park Elevator Burn

On August 28, 2005 the Lake Park Fire Department hosted a excellent training event by having an old wooden grain elevator burned down. Fire Departments in Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota were on hand. During the six hour burn 200,000 to 300,000 gallons of water was pumped for fire control and protection of nearby structures.
