I'm very happy with this little gallery. If you have the time, please check it out and leave any comments you might have. I hope the images give you an idea of what a wonderful new year's day it was! We took an afternoon trip to Newport, RI. Steve and I did some window shopping, water viewing, sightseeing, eating and of course picture taking! :-) The weather was unseasonably warm, in the high 40's F. These are some of the things we came away with on New Year's Day 2005. There were people out on little sailboats ( not warm enough for that in my opinion). We were surprised by a bride and groom when we were visiting the grounds at Oceancliff. I was mesmorized by the gorgeous sunset so I've posted quite a few of those. Steve and I ran out of time but there are many more beautiful things to be seen in Newport. I'll be happy to go back soon and find more to photograph. It was a great way to start a new year!
