snowy day again ~ January 12th

This is the scene that greeted me when I was leaving for work this morning. :-) Tomorrow it's supposed to be 60 degrees F. The weather is whacky this winter.

Looks like folks were doing some sliding around. And that's a pretty good snowfall. Yeh, the weather is really whacky but we still got Feb. and Mar. to get through.

I keep looking at beautiful snow photos and wish we got snow in London (I really miss my Chicago snow). But then I saw this one, with the slush and the tire tracks, and said, 'Do I really miss this mess?'

So congratulations, Lori. You are the first person on PBase who I have seen actually upload an image of snow the way it REALLY is! Great shot ... gets my vote!

I was greeted with a sheet of ice on the driveway! Luckily I didnt fall, but my poor mom did, TWICE!

I think the messy business of snow would be the most wearing of all. Driving must be a nightmare at times.

I wore just a light jacket today while shoveling the 4" of new snow. go figure.
But I'll be bring the down jacket to MVY this weekend. Go figure again.
