I joined Pbase last month. I love it!!!! There is sooo much talent here it amazes and inspires me. One thing I feel inspired to do is to give myself a project for PAD in September. I have a teacup collection. It’s not a big one…..6 individual cups…. But 2 are from my grandmother’s collection. She always had pretty teacups. I like pretty things, so over the last few years I’ve gotten 4 more and hope to have it grow slowly as I get older. I hope I find interesting ways to share my teacups in September.

I’m also hoping this project will distract me from the fact that my daughter is leaving for her 1st semester at college in 2 days. When I started crying, while by myself, in the supermarket today I got an indication that this transition might be harder for me than I thought.

I’m starting the month off with the 1st teacup I bought myself…. seems appropriate.
