That's swedish steel, very strong. Photographically the gold is great against the black and grey. Metal in 3 shades on wood.

I have a great affinity for Buddhist thought, wish there would be a way to protect the things we cherish, alas as you say i nyour poem, everyting can be taken away from us.
(Looks like it is still raining your way too, same here, no Spring to speak of, thiking of moving South.)
