My weather vane

My house is about 160 years old
I believe that this weather vane has been
on my barn from the beginning
It’s one of the reasons we bought the place

other sizes: small medium original auto

This Steed loves your steed. Thanks for the kind comment on my PaD flower.

I completely understand buying a house for that feature...I think I fell in love with my house for the french pocket doors. Lovely light on this!

That's fantastic. And I'll bet it weighs a good bit, too!

I like that greenish tint to it.. and the way the sun plays a bit off the front. Very cool about the barn.. wow.. i drive all over in search of old places...

You really nailed this one, Larry. The light on the burnished flank adds such dimension and interest. Even in a thumbnail it is dramatic.

Oh, I love this, and I'd love to see more photos of that 160 year old house! Thanks for posting this, Larry.

How wonderful, Larry. It is so good to feel connected to history by land and buildings. The weathervane is such a strong and defined symbol.

Lovely and sharp image. Your house is almost as old as mine... but I didn't get a weather vane, all I get is maintenance bills!
