Poppy

Like an oriental fan
Like rice paper

It looks like an orange paper lantern. You must've been flat on your nose to get this!

Lovely! Brought to mind the poem "In Flanders Field."

Perfect 'ramblings' in your head to go with this lovely poppy. So delicate!

Your caption is terrific. It made me re-examine the wonderful texture of this blossom.

Lovely poppy. When we were out at Dronley Woods yesterday we passed a field of them... I meant to get a photo, but it started raining, and I began to feel unwell. Your image has made up for it. Thanks.

A nice shot Larry, we call them fireroses here. They crimple very easely. The seeds are excellent on bakery. The rest of it is less glorious and to avoid.
