In spring the forests of New England glow with a soft reddish brown hue.
It’s from the delicate flower of the Red Maple.

Larry, you've sized your original at over 800 pixels (either width or height), so the pbase server compresses the picture to that size as a default when someone clicks on the thumbnail (unless they're browsing at "original" prior to opening your picture). So, what I'm saying is that, while I love the ability to fill my screen with your picture (and I may save it for desktop wallpaper) the photo isn't showing as well in the default setting, which is "large," as it could and, thus, a beautiful picture is made less lovely.....geez, I'm wordy this morning...
