This image is an experiment. It is a small vase about 6 inches (15 cm) tall.
I recently purchase some of those cheap wireless flash triggers on EBay and
had not really tested them yet. I took this using them to trigger two old
Nikon flashes, one placed on either side (you can see the reflections in the
image). I used my home-made macro "studio" for the shot. I'm happy that using
this method has done a good job of eliminating shadows, but I've got more
work to do on flash power settings and placement. I also found that the
triggers work as advertised.
