All images in this gallery were taken near Ortonville, Michigan, USA, using a Canon 30D, 17-40 mm lens usually set at 17mm, ISO200, f4.0 with 20 to 30 sec exposures. The camera was tripod mounted and I used a cable release to activate the shutter. All shots were taken between 10:39 and 11:45 PM EST.
