Some claim that Sony's kit lens is not the best choice and it could be better.
Maybe some of this folks have never take the time to really test this lens.
If I compare it to the 18-55 Nikkor Kit lenses, this lens is a real hammer
and a Nikon 18-55VR is just a toy beside of it. The built quality is good
and the lens performs brilliant compared to most kit lenses form other brands.
