Melancholy in September - Sept. 11-04

Today, it rains.
We had allmost 2 weeks of nice warm weather here and the scene shown on this picture was the everydays parkview.
People where laying in the grass everywhere, children playing and the bicycle was on the run for long trips.
Real melancholic, a weather that invites you to dream and seems to be past for a long time again.

Think of this type as the dog days. Conveys your message nicely.

Excellent job Lou. I like the framing and your exposure is spot on.

Very, very nice... I like the framing, both within the photo and the framing of the actual photo! Nice work.

It's difficult for me to get a good balance between light and dark. I think this works, especially with the sun in front of you causing the framing tree branches to carry the dark throughout the picture. Like it.

I agree with the comment below... October weather is the best, where I live. Good photo!

I love how the lighting enhances that pretty bed of flowers. A really nice picture.

Yes, but often the weather can be even nicer in Sept and Oct than the earlier months. I really enjoy the hot days and cool refreshing evenings of this autumn - and it's a photographer's dream. CH
